The Specialist Pool Distributor

Here at Lighthouse we believe customer loyalty is firmly based on an ability to listen to and work with our clients. Not only do we source and provide the best products on the market but supply them, in most instances, exclusively, protecting vital price points and offering the best value we can.

Our Story

Lighthouse was established in 2010 as a family business distributing a premium brand of heat pumps in the UK. Since then we have carefully grown our portfolio to include many other outstanding pool products and brands, (the majority of which remain exclusive to Lighthouse Pools).

From small beginnings, as an aside to our pool building business, we have grown to focus solely on the sale and distribution of a full range of pool equipment to retailers and installers all over the country. Due to the rapid expansion of Lighthouse we took the decision, in 2015, to stop operating as an installation company and have since focused on providing the trade with unrivalled products with an unrivalled service.

HeatForm Panel Pool

HeatForm

Not given to resting on our laurels and cognisant of the need for more sustainable and environmentally aware products, we decided to bring our own in-house brand, HeatForm to the mass market. After several years of intense design and development, the popular HeatForm panel pool system was launched in 2019. In 2022, we launched the new Velocity Swim jet – a powerful, elite counter- current system.

The Journey

From a retailer to a distributor to becoming a manufacturer, we can honestly say that the Lighthouse journey has been a fun and eventful one and enabled us to amass a critical body of knowledge which we are more than happy to share! We understand the pool business from the ground up and to that end, we recently set up the Lighthouse Technical Training Centre in Oxford. This pioneering centre is the only one of its kind in the UK and offers the trade a valuable opportunity to come and get hands on with the products we supply to learn more about them.

Polytropic Chooses Lighthouse

2023 was a big year for Lighthouse when shortly after launching the Training Centre, we were approached by Polytropic to become their sole UK distributor. Polytropic have fast become the widest selling heat pump in Europe and we were delighted to be part of their development into the UK market. Their exclusive units boast long warranties, modern aesthetics and are all remotely monitored by our inhouse technical team, offering valuable peace of mind for end users and pool companies alike.

Moving into Water Treatment

Lighthouse were approached by world leading water treatment experts Bayrol in 2023 to become their primary UK distributor and a valuable and dynamic partnership was founded. As well as their popular, premium automatic dosing systems, the water treatment products are well known for their reliability and efficacy.

We’ve got it covered!

Drawing on our extensive manufacturing experience, our in-house brand HeatForm created a selection of automatic slatted cover systems. These provide four different installation options and include the fun, above-ground system known as 'The Wave'. Alongside these, we also offer the well-known Coverseal safety cover system from Belgium.

The Future

Who can tell what the future holds for any of us but as we continue to grow as a company, Lighthouse will always strive to retain its strong customer-focused values and work hard to deliver the products and level of service our clients expect. As an independent company working in an increasingly corporate field, we like to think we are big enough to deliver but still small enough to provide a personalised approach to customer care.
